About the THC (TB HIV Care) Data Capturer Learnership 2024
We are seeking candidates who are eager to join our learnership program and delve into the world of Data Capturing. As a Data Capturer Learnership candidate, you will be responsible for capturing clinical data related to services provided to clients across various channels, including facilities, mobile units, and outreach teams. Your role will also involve maintaining an electronic database to store the submitted data securely. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of the data, which will involve verifying the information by collaborating with relevant staff members.
Responsibilities:
- Organize, retrieve, and file client folders in advance
- Engage in the process of recording data
- Ensure the quality of the data
- Establish connections for client care
- Participate in workshops, meetings, and necessary training sessions
- Verify data accuracy and generate reports
- Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the Data Monitor
Eligibility Criteria:

Basic Qualifications:
- Obtain a Grade 12 (level 4 qualification)
- Acquire a national certificate and/or training in the HIV/AIDS and STI program

- Become a beneficiary of DREAMS
- Cultivate a background or interest in HIV and public health
- Demonstrate proficiency in English and isiXhosa (advantageous)
- Ensure you have a clear criminal record
- Reside in proximity to the identified health facility
- Ensure that your age falls between 18 and 24 years
