Key Responsibilities:
As a Water Quality Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collecting and testing water samples using a variety of analytical tools and techniques.
- Conducting site inspections to identify areas of concern and develop effective solutions.
- Providing guidance to the operations team on maintenance and improvement strategies.
- Collaborating with other departments to share knowledge and best practices in water quality management.
- Developing and implementing procedures for corrective actions and reporting.
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting laboratory results and site inspections.
Minimum Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Water Quality Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a water quality-related field, preferably in water treatment or distribution.
- Strong knowledge of water quality parameters and laboratory testing procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in challenging environments.
- Safety certification (e.g., OSHA, SWIFT) and a strong understanding of relevant safety procedures.

Duties:
The Water Quality Technician will:

- Review and analyze laboratory results to identify trends, concerns, and develop plans to address issues.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of laboratory results, sample collections, and site inspections.
