Gov Worker
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Urban Environmental Planner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sustainable urban planning solutions that balance the needs of urban residents, businesses, and the environment. Key Responsibilities
As an Urban Environmental Planner, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing urban planning projects that meet the needs of stakeholders, including residents, businesses, and government agencies.
- Conducting site visits and assessments to gather information and identify opportunities for urban planning improvements.
- Developing and presenting reports and recommendations to stakeholders, including proposals for urban planning initiatives.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including urban designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive urban planning solutions.
- Managing and coordinating urban planning projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in urban planning and applying this knowledge to inform project development and implementation.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A relevant degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in urban planning, with a focus on environmental sustainability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and project teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform planning decisions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and initiative.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Working Environment and Conditions
This is a full-time position, with a 40-hour workweek. The role requires frequent work outside of normal working hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate project timelines and stakeholder meetings. The successful candidate will also be required to travel for project-related activities, both locally and internationally.
