As a Toxicologist, you will be responsible for conducting experiments and testing procedures to assess the toxic effects of various substances, developing and testing new toxicology methods and protocols, and providing scientific expertise and consultation to regulatory agencies, law enforcement officials, and industry professionals.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of experts in toxicology, including researchers, clinicians, and regulatory scientists. You will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain accurate and detailed records of your work and findings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be interacting with both technical and non-technical personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting experiments and testing procedures to assess the toxic effects of various substances, including drugs, pesticides, and chemicals.
  • Developing and testing new toxicology methods and protocols to improve the detection and assessment of toxic substances.
  • Providing scientific expertise and consultation to regulatory agencies, law enforcement officials, and industry professionals.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of safety protocols for the handling and disposal of hazardous substances.
  • Participating in the planning, coordination, and execution of research projects and studies.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Toxicology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in toxicology, research and development, or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of toxicology principles, concepts, and methods.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific information to non-technical personnel.
