We invite you to join our dynamic team as a Tax Reporting Manager, where you will take on the challenge of ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting for our organization. As a key member of our finance team, you will manage the preparation and submission of tax returns and provide expert advice on tax-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

As a Tax Reporting Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and submitting tax returns, including income tax, value-added tax (VAT), and other relevant taxes.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, including the requirements of the South African Revenue Service (SARS).
  • Managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all tax-related transactions.
  • Providing expert advice on tax-related matters to management and other stakeholders.
  • Identifying and mitigating potential tax risks and exposures.
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders, including finance, accounting, and operations teams, to ensure seamless tax reporting.
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and implementing necessary changes to tax reporting processes.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in tax reporting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Certification: Professional certification in accounting, such as CA(SA) or CTA.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations, including SARS requirements.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Work Style: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
