Key Responsibilities

The Tax Operations Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing and supervising the tax team to ensure efficient and accurate processing of tax transactions.
  • Developing and maintaining a high level of tax knowledge and expertise to stay up-to-date with changing tax laws and regulations.
  • Preparing and reviewing tax returns and ensuring compliance with tax legislation.
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Identifying and mitigating tax risks and developing strategies to minimize tax exposure.
  • Providing tax consulting and advisory services to senior management and other stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Professional certification such as CA(SA) or CTA.
  • Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations in South Africa.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
