Gov Worker
As a Statutory Reporting Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and Reviewing Statutory Financial Reports: Ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Identifying and Resolving Discrepancies: Working closely with the finance team to address discrepancies in financial reports, accounts, and transactions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Ensuring Compliance with Regulatory Requirements: Ensuring the company’s financial reports comply with South African Revenue Service (SARS) and Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
- Collaborating with the Finance Team: Providing guidance and support to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- Experience: At least 3 years in statutory financial reporting, preferably in a similar role.
- Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office: Strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards: Familiarity with FRS and SARS requirements.
