As a Statutory Reporting Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and Reviewing Statutory Financial Reports: Ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Identifying and Resolving Discrepancies: Working closely with the finance team to address discrepancies in financial reports, accounts, and transactions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Ensuring Compliance with Regulatory Requirements: Ensuring the company’s financial reports comply with South African Revenue Service (SARS) and Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
  • Collaborating with the Finance Team: Providing guidance and support to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Experience: At least 3 years in statutory financial reporting, preferably in a similar role.
  • Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards: Familiarity with FRS and SARS requirements.

Working Environment and Conditions

This role is based in our Johannesburg office and requires:

  • Full-Time Employment: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
