We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based athletic development programs to optimize performance and reduce the risk of injury. Key Responsibilities:

As a Sports Scientist, you will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing individualized and group training programs for athletes, considering their specific needs, goals, and limitations.
  • Conducting scientific research to identify best practices in athletic development and applying this knowledge to inform training programs.
  • Monitoring and analyzing athlete performance data, including physiological, biomechanical, and psychological parameters, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with coaches, athletic trainers, and other team members to develop and implement comprehensive athletic development programs.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in the field of athletic development and current industry best practices.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A Master’s degree in Exercise Science, Sports Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a similar role, preferably in a professional sports setting.
  • Strong knowledge of athletic development principles, training methods, and injury prevention strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform training programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with athletes, coaches, and other team members.

Working Environment and Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with regular working hours. Some evening and weekend work may be required. Collaboration with other team members, including coaches, athletic trainers, and medical staff, is essential.
