We are seeking an exceptionally qualified and motivated Sports Medicine Doctor to join our dedicated healthcare team at XYZ Sports Injury Clinic. Our multidisciplinary clinic caters to a wide range of athletic disciplines, providing high-level care, rehabilitation, and medical assistance to top athletes. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in the prevention, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic injuries associated with various sports activities.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Sports Medicine Doctor at XYZ Sports Injury Clinic, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exemplary patient-centered care to injured athletes across various age groups.
  • Collaborating closely with team physiotherapists, orthopedic consultants, and athletic trainers to ensure all treatment modalities align for optimal recovery and athletic readiness.
  • Diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal and traumatic injuries using cutting-edge technologies, including CT scans, X-rays, and MRIs.
  • Implementing precise pain management techniques and acute fracture management strategies.
  • Utilizing an array of sports-related therapy techniques, including exercise science and sports-specific exercises for injured athletes.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Hold a medical degree from an approved institution (M. Medicine or MBBCh).
  • Possess the corresponding certification/registration as a Specialist within the Sports Medicine sector.
  • Have a postgraduate diploma, such as the MFCT, or Fellowship with a recognized medical board or specialty-specific college (desired).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in one of our regional languages to cater to our diverse client base, along with a strong grasp of local sport-specific jargon.

  • A solid understanding of exercise science principles, kinesiology, and biomechanics related to sports injury etiology.
