Key Responsibilities
As a Solar Energy Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
* Conducting site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the viability of solar energy projects
* Designing and developing solar energy systems, including grid-connected and off-grid installations
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to solar energy systems
* Conducting energy analysis and simulations to optimize the performance of solar energy systems
* Ensuring that all solar energy systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations
* Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to ensure their satisfaction with solar energy solutions
Minimum Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
* At least 2 years of experience in solar energy engineering or a related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and develop complex solar energy systems
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
* Proficiency in electrical engineering software, such as AutoCAD and ETAP
* Familiarity with solar energy system testing and commissioning procedures
* Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, as required
