Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Development and implementation of financial strategies and plans to achieve business objectives
- Financial analysis and reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Collaboration with other departments to identify and address financial risks and opportunities
- Leadership and management of a team of accountants and financial analysts
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior accounting role
- Professional certification in accounting, such as CA(SA) or CIMA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
