Key Requirements:
- MSc in Numerical Sciences, Earth Sciences, or related field
- Professional registration with SACNASP
- Valid driver’s license
- 6 years’ experience in natural science roles
- Expertise in data systems development
- Knowledge of National Water Act (No 36 of 1998)
- Computer proficiency
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead Water Quality Information Systems team
- Develop/maintain water quality databases
- Create data analysis methodologies
- Produce technical reports and publications
- Coordinate staff training programs
- Manage strategic planning and reporting
