Gov Worker
Our dynamic healthcare organization is seeking a highly skilled Revenue Cycle Analyst to join our finance team. As an integral part of the revenue management team, you will be responsible for optimizing revenue cycle processes, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of claims submissions, patient billing, and revenue recognition. Your sharp analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication will be critical in identifying and resolving complex billing and coding issues to improve our financial efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
As a Revenue Cycle Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Developing and maintaining timely and accurate revenue recognition reports.
- Coordinating with the billing team to ensure accurate and prompt submission of claims.
- Identifying and resolving complex billing and coding discrepancies.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to improve revenue cycle processes and implement corrective actions.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness of the revenue cycle.
Minimum Requirements
The successful candidate must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in revenue cycle analysis, billing, or healthcare finance.
- In-depth knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding systems.
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and Practice Management Systems (PMS).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Working Environment and Conditions

- Regular collaboration with internal teams, including billing staff, patient access personnel, and hospital administrators.
- Standard working hours of 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
Duties
In addition to the key responsibilities, the successful candidate will also:
- Complete special projects and tasks assigned by the Revenue Cycle Manager.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance revenue cycle processes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of analyses, findings, and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in revenue cycle management.
