Gov Worker
As a Revenue Accountant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing revenue recognition, accounting, and financial reporting. You will play a crucial role in delivering strategic insights to senior management, facilitating budgeting and forecasting, and leading a talented team of accountants and financial analysts.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the financial performance of the organization, including revenue recognition, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Providing strategic financial guidance to senior management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Supervising and mentoring a team of accountants and financial analysts.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective financial management and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a large organization.
- Professional certification in accounting, such as CA(SA) or CIMA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
