As a Revenue Accountant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing revenue recognition, accounting, and financial reporting. You will play a crucial role in delivering strategic insights to senior management, facilitating budgeting and forecasting, and leading a talented team of accountants and financial analysts.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the financial performance of the organization, including revenue recognition, accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Providing strategic financial guidance to senior management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Supervising and mentoring a team of accountants and financial analysts.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure effective financial management and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a large organization.
  • Professional certification in accounting, such as CA(SA) or CIMA.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
