Gov Worker
As a Regulatory Reporting Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization’s financial data is accurately reported to various regulatory bodies while maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including financial reporting, auditing, and compliance teams, to ensure seamless data flow and minimize risks. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and a strong understanding of regulatory reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Analyzing financial data and preparing reports to meet regulatory requirements, including financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reporting documents.
- Identifying and correcting errors, irregularities, and discrepancies in financial data to ensure accurate reporting.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain a comprehensive regulatory reporting calendar.
- Researching and staying up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements, guidelines, and procedures.
- Ensuring all regulatory reports are submitted accurately and on time.
- Reviewing and verifying financial data to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in regulatory reporting, auditing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Certification in accounting (CIMA, CA(SA), ACCA, etc.) would be an advantage.
