West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner
Trainers – £75 per Hour (excl. travel)
To deliver workshops/ training in schools and colleges across the West Midlands, as part of the Precious Lives project throughout Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall, Wolverhampton.
This is an exciting opportunity for energetic, inspiring and engaging individuals with a passion for preventing youth violence and supporting young people in the region to thrive. We are looking for dynamic facilitators with real-life lived experiences that can be shared with young people and can educate them on topics including the consequences of carrying/using knives and joint enterprise with an aim to reduce youth violence.
Hours are ad-hoc with a flexible approach. You will be offered sessions by a central administrator. Most of the sessions will be delivered within term-time; some sessions may be delivered on an evening or weekend. It will be face to face delivery in educational settings. Applicants with a driving license and access to a vehicle are preferred as workshops will be allocated across the West Midlands.
You will be responsible for delivering first class training to young people within primary and secondary schools, colleges. You will help support the Police and Crime Commissioner as part of his promise to respond to the growing issue of serious youth violence in the West Midlands.
