We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Petroleum Geologist to join our exploration and production team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting geological and geophysical data to identify potential oil and gas reserves. Key Responsibilities:

As a Petroleum Geologist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Analyzing and interpreting geological and geophysical data to identify potential oil and gas reserves.
  • Conducting site visits to collect and record field data, including rock and fluid samples.
  • Creating and updating geological models, maps, and reports.
  • Collaborating with engineers, geophysicists, and other professionals to integrate data and develop plans for exploration and production.
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geophysics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on exploration and production.
  • Strong knowledge of petroleum geology, geophysics, and petrophysics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
