Gov Worker
The Payroll Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company’s payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, bonuses, and other benefits to employees. The successful candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the HR and Finance teams to ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to other team members as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities of the Payroll Supervisor include:
- Managing the day-to-day payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely payment of salaries, bonuses, and other benefits to employees
- Processing and managing payroll data, including employee changes, new hires, and terminations
- Collaborating with the HR and Finance teams to ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations
- Providing guidance and support to other team members as needed
- Developing and implementing effective payroll processes and procedures
- Monitoring and reporting on payroll metrics and statistics
- Identifying and resolving payroll-related issues in a timely and efficient manner
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a payroll or accounting role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations in South Africa
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
