Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be expected to perform the following key responsibilities:

  • Process and manage company payroll data, ensuring 100% accuracy and data integrity.
  • Prepare, review, and submit payment files for all employees, including salaries, benefits, bonuses, and taxes.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and troubleshoot payroll-related issues.
  • Develop, maintain, and update all payroll-related documentation, charts, and records.

Minimum Requirements

Your application will be considered ideal if you possess the following:

  • Relevant experience in a payroll or related field (at least 2 years).
  • A formal qualification in Accounting, Auditing, or a relevant field (NQF Level 5 or above).
  • Proficiency in payroll software and payroll processing.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.

Duties

As a Payroll Analyst, your duties will include:

  • Liaising with HR departments to resolve employee-related pay issues.
  • Preparing financial reports, such as reconciliation statements, to ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Accurately calculating and entering employee leave and benefits as per company policies.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing payroll expenses to help the organization optimize its personnel costs.
  • Fostering excellent relationships with suppliers, customers, and coworkers.
