Gov Worker
The Noise Pollution Analyst plays a pivotal role in our environmental management team by collecting, analyzing, and reporting on noise pollution data. This position requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, as well as attention to detail. You will contribute to the development of policies and strategies to mitigate the impacts of noise pollution on the environment and public health. We are looking for a dedicated, detail-oriented individual who can work independently and as part of our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Noise Pollution Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and collecting noise data using sound level meters, data loggers, and other monitoring equipment.
- Conducting noise surveys and assessments in various settings, including industrial, residential, and recreational areas.
- Analyzing noise data to identify trends, patterns, and sources of noise pollution.
- Developing noise management plans and strategies for mitigating noise pollution impacts.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as urban planners, architects, and engineers to implement noise reduction measures.
- Staying updated with the latest developments in noise pollution control and mitigation.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Acoustic Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in noise monitoring, analysis, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and noise monitoring software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Physical ability to lift and transport monitoring equipment.
- A valid driver’s license.
