Naturopath

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Naturopath to join our team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in holistic health and wellness, with a passion for empowering individuals to take control of their health and well-being. As a Naturopath, you will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve optimal health and vitality through natural therapies and treatments.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with our healthcare team to provide holistic and integrated healthcare services. You will have the opportunity to work with patients from diverse backgrounds and age groups, utilizing a range of natural therapies to address various health concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Naturopath, you will be responsible for the following:

• Conducting comprehensive initial consultations to assess patients’ health needs and goals.
• Developing personalized treatment plans incorporating natural therapies, such as herbal medicine, homeopathy, and nutritional counseling.
• Performing physical exams, taking vital signs, and conducting other diagnostic tests as needed.
• Administering and monitoring patient treatments, including herbal supplements, vitamin supplements, and other natural therapies.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records and treatment plans.
• Staying current with the latest research and advancements in natural medicine, incorporating new knowledge into your practice.
• Communicating effectively with patients, family members, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of new services and programs.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must:

• Hold a recognized degree in Naturopathy or a related field (Bachelor’s or higher).
• Be registered with a relevant professional body, such as the Allied Health Professions Council of South Africa (AHPCSA).
• Have at least 2 years of experience in a Naturopathic practice or a related healthcare setting.
