Key Responsibilities:
The Microbiologist will be responsible for:
- Conducting research and testing in the field of microbiology, including the isolation, identification, and characterization of microorganisms.
- Developing and implementing methods for the detection and quantification of microorganisms.
- Collaborating with other researchers and scientists to design and conduct experiments and studies.
- Analyzing and interpreting data, and presenting findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of research and testing.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in the field of microbiology.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a research or testing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety procedures and protocols.

Working Environment and Conditions:
This is a full-time position based in our state-of-the-art research facility in South Africa. The successful candidate will be expected to work a standard 40-hour week, with occasional evening and weekend work as required. The working environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.

The duties of the Microbiologist will include:
- Conducting research and testing in the field of microbiology.

Benefits:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including:
- A salary range of R350,000 – R500,000 per annum, depending on experience.
