Key Responsibilities:
As a Massage Therapist (Sports), your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing sports massage therapy services to athletes and individuals involved in various sports and physical activities.
- Assessing clients’ needs and developing personalized treatment plans to achieve optimal results.
- Performing massage therapy techniques, including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, and trigger point therapy.
- Communicating effectively with clients, coaches, and trainers to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
- Maintaining accurate records of client treatments and progress.
- Participating in continuing education and professional development to stay current with best practices in sports massage therapy.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be a licensed massage therapist with valid registration from the relevant professional body.
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in sports massage therapy or a related field.
- Hold a recognized qualification in massage therapy, such as a Diploma or Degree in Massage Therapy.
- Be physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg.
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
