Manager – Operations (Domestic Taxes Department)

Job Field Finance / Accounting / Audit 
Purpose of the job:
Provision of efficient and effective administration of services within the department.
Key Responsibilities
Dissemination of policies, procedures, correspondences and work plans for the Department
Coordination of records management, resources, budgets, staff inductions and trainings for the Department
Facilitation of provision of working tools and equipment to staff in the Division
Manage Performance, Audit, QMS, integrity and risk programmes
Ensuring effective organization and facilitation of revenue meetings, sensitizations and other engagements
Academic qualification
Bachelors University degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Business Administration, Business studies, Economics or equivalent field from a recognized University.
Post graduate degree in related field is an added advantage
Professional qualification
Training in Tax Administration
Membership to relevant professional body is an added advantage
Work experience
Minimum five (5) years progressive work experience with at least two (2) years at first level management in a relevant

Technological ability and Good decision making capabilities
Resilient, focused, results-oriented, Risk management and analysis
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills, Good planning and organizational skills
