7.5 Hours per Week (minimum – additional hours may be available)

5 days per week, Monday-Friday, 38 weeks, term-time only (some statutory training will take place on inset days – dates will be confirmed)

Salary Band/Range:  Band A, Point 1-3, £20,258 – £20,812 full time equivalent salary

Bishop Wilson CE Primary School is seeking to appoint caring and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisors/Playworkers, commencing September 2023.

This role involves supervising and caring for children between the ages of three to eleven, during the lunchtime break (currently falling between 11.20am and 1.30pm due to staggered lunch hours). 

You will work as part of a team, overseeing the lunchtime routine in the dining hall and supervising pupils in a range of activities to keep them positively occupied on the playground (or in the classrooms during wet play).

Experience of working with children from Early Years would be an advantage, though not essential.  We would also welcome applications from individuals with Level 3 qualifications, and knowledge or experience of playwork would also be an advantage,

You will be expected to deal with minor first aid and to manage behaviour in line with the school policy. Please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification for more details.
