Gov Worker
The Junior Tax Analyst will be an integral part of our tax team, working closely with senior tax professionals to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of tax principles and regulations, and will be able to apply this knowledge to assist with tax planning and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
As a Junior Tax Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation of tax returns, including income tax, value-added tax, and other taxes.
- Providing administrative support to the tax team, including data entry, document management, and record-keeping.
- Assisting with tax compliance, ensuring accurate and timely filing of tax returns and payments.
- Conducting research and analysis to identify potential tax savings and opportunities.
- Preparing and reviewing tax-related documents, including tax returns, invoices, and other financial statements.
- Communicating with clients and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance.
- Identifying and escalating potential tax issues and concerns to senior tax professionals.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Taxation, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of tax principles and regulations, including income tax, value-added tax, and other taxes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems and processes.

Working Environment and Conditions.
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional overtime as required.
