Gov Worker
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Inventory Accountant to join our dynamic team. As an Inventory Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records, managing inventory levels, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. As an Inventory Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking inventory levels, identifying discrepancies, and performing physical counts
- Conducting regular inventory audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Analyzing inventory data to identify trends, optimize inventory levels, and minimize stockouts and overstocking
- Collaborating with the purchasing and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate receipt of inventory
- Preparing and presenting inventory reports to management, including budget variance analysis and recommendations for improvement
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in an inventory accounting role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Working Environment and Conditions
