We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Ledger Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our general ledger while preparing and reviewing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
As a key member of our finance team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our company’s financial records, managing cash flow, and providing financial analysis and guidance to our management team. Key Responsibilities
As a General Ledger Accountant, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, ensuring timely and accurate submission to stakeholders
- Managing and reconciling cash and bank accounts, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Providing financial analysis and guidance to management, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Assisting in the preparation and review of financial reports, including financial statements, income statements, and balance sheets
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and IFRS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders
