Key Responsibilities
As a Fund Reporting Analyst, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing fund financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports in line with international financial reporting standards.
- Collaborating with the investment team to develop fund reporting tools, dashboards, and analysis tools to support performance monitoring.
- Analyzing portfolio holdings, performance, and cash flow to identify optimization and risk-reduction opportunities.
- Responding to investor queries and preparing comprehensive investor reports.
- Ensuring timely and accurate fund reporting for regulators, rating agencies, and external stakeholders.
- Coordinating with external service providers such as custodians, auditors, and investment banks.
Minimum Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in investment management, financial reporting, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, with strong skills in data analysis and pivot tables.
- Experience with fund accounting and financial reporting systems (e.g., MAM, Alpago, etc.).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
