Gov Worker
We are seeking a dedicated Food Safety Inspector to play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our food products. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting regular inspections of our production facilities, testing and monitoring food products, and implementing corrective actions to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
As a Food Safety Inspector, you will ensure that our food products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food safety and quality control, with experience in conducting inspections and implementing corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities:
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting regular inspections of our production facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Testing and monitoring food products to detect potential contamination or quality issues.
- Implementing corrective actions to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with production staff to identify and address any quality or safety issues.
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures to uphold the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Providing training and guidance to production staff on food safety and quality control procedures.
- Maintaining accurate records of inspections, testing, and corrective actions.
- Staying up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following minimum requirements:
- Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in food safety and quality control.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies (up to 25 kg).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
