Key Responsibilities:

As a Flood Risk Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting site visits to assess flood risks and identify potential hazards.
  • Developing and implementing flood risk management plans to minimize damage and disruption.
  • Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to design and implement flood-resistant structures.
  • Analyzing and interpreting data to identify trends and patterns in flood risk.
  • Developing and presenting reports and recommendations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest flood risk management technologies and best practices.

Minimum Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in flood risk engineering or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
