We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fixed Asset Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely recording, reporting, and management of our company’s fixed assets. Key Responsibilities:
As a Fixed Asset Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining and updating the company’s fixed asset register, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Conducting regular audits and reconciliations of fixed assets to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Identifying and reporting on any discrepancies or irregularities in the fixed asset register.
- Providing technical guidance and support to other members of the finance team.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a fixed asset accounting role.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
