The Financial Reporting Manager is a critical role that plays a vital part in ensuring the financial performance of the organization is accurately captured, reported, and reviewed. Key Responsibilities
In this challenging and rewarding role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing the financial reporting team, focusing on high-quality financial statement preparation, and review for accuracy and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining financial reporting processes and policies to ensure efficient and timely reporting of financial performance.
- Maintaining and strengthening existing relationships with internal stakeholders, including executive management, functional departments, and external bodies, to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Collaborating with accounting, tax, and investment teams to ensure consistency across financial reporting and regulatory reporting.
- Providing analytical and technical support to internal customers, such as forecasting and budgeting, to support business planning and decision-making.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial reporting, management accounting, or a similar role.
- Professional certification, such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), is a major advantage.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with proficiency in Excel, financial planning and analysis software, and database applications.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, as part of a team, and with minimal supervision.
- Solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and relevant regulatory requirements.
