We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental Impact Assessor to join our team. In this critical role, you will assess the potential environmental impacts of development projects and provide recommendations for mitigation and management. You will conduct thorough assessments of environmental impacts, identify potential risks, and develop strategies for minimizing those risks. Key Responsibilities

As an Environmental Impact Assessor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough environmental impact assessments, including reviewing project plans, identifying potential environmental impacts, and evaluating the effectiveness of mitigation measures.
  • Developing and implementing strategies for minimizing environmental risks, including environmental management plans.
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure that environmental considerations are integrated into project design and implementation.
  • Identifying and evaluating potential environmental hazards and developing plans for mitigating those hazards.
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to project teams on environmental matters, including air and water quality, noise pollution, and waste management.
  • Developing and presenting reports on environmental impact assessments, including recommendations for improvement.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in environmental impact assessment, environmental management, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex environmental data and develop effective solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of preparing clear and concise reports and presentations.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and guidelines related to air and water quality, noise pollution, and waste management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
