We work with young carers from the age of 6 upwards and aim to help make a difference to their lives by encouraging them to take time out to relax, take a break and to realise their own dreams.
We don’t have all the answers, but we will try to find them for any Young Carers who come to us for help or support.
Warwickshire Young Carers is an independent local charity that tailors the help, support and advice we offer to the individual needs of each Young Carer.
Are you passionate about raising awareness to support Young Carers through engagement and wider community participation?
As an Engagement Coordinator you will work countywide to raise awareness of the situation of Young Carers with other professionals and the wider community creating opportunities for Young Carers, having their voices heard and engaging with parents and families empowering them to positively navigate often complex needs and thereby improve outcomes for their Young Carers.
You will proactively engage with and build effective on-going working relationships with partners to ensure Warwickshire Young Carers is actively promoted, providing and creating resources and materials to promote the service, engage potential partners and to support Young Carers and families when they most need support.
You will be required to use your excellent organisational skills to effectively support the planning, coordination and delivery and day to day running of trips and activities, creating engaging and fun activities for Young Carers to participate in.
