Key Responsibilities

  • Credit Analysis: Analyzing credit reports, financial statements, and other relevant data to assess creditworthiness.
  • Risk Identification: Identifying potential risks and making informed decisions regarding credit limits, payment terms, and other financial arrangements.
  • Debt Recovery: Identifying and pursuing opportunities for debt recovery, utilizing a range of techniques and strategies.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and clients.
  • Dispute Resolution: Resolving disputes and negotiating settlements in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and reports, providing timely and relevant financial information to management.
  • Market Awareness: Staying abreast of changes in market conditions, regulatory requirements, and industry trends, and adapting analysis and strategies accordingly.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a credit and collections role, preferably in a commercial setting.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and clients.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Working Environment and Conditions

This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, with a regular 9-to-5 schedule. The role requires occasional overtime, particularly during peak periods or in response to urgent matters.
