We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Corporate Risk Officer to join our elite team. As a pivotal member of our organization’s risk management function, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks that threaten our business operations. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, the Corporate Risk Officer will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and profitability of our investments, assets, and brand reputation.

Key Responsibilities

As a Corporate Risk Officer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive risk management strategies to identify potential threats and opportunities, prioritizing risks based on potential impact and likelihood of occurrence.
  • Conducting regular risk assessments, analyzing data and market trends to maintain a robust risk profile for the organization.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders, including business unit heads, department heads, and external partners to facilitate effective risk management.
  • Collaborating with internal committees and teams to develop risk-based decision-making frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Designing and implementing risk-reward mitigation strategies, assessing potential consequences, and developing targeted action plans to address gaps.
  • Developing and implementing reporting frameworks to monitor, track, and report risks, ensuring transparency and timeliness.
  • Identifying emerging risks and opportunities, engaging stakeholders to develop and execute strategic responses.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Financial Management, or Risk Management.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in risk management, auditing, or a related field.
  • Professional certification in Risk Management (CPMR or equivalent) would be an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong risk management principles, with practical experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Advanced knowledge of risk management methodologies, including risk mapping and scenario planning.
  • Effective leadership and collaboration skills to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities with a high level of professionalism.

  • Monitoring and tracking key performance indicators, reporting on risk outcomes and implementing corrective actions.
