Sacred Heart Primary School (SIPS)

Sacred Heart Primary School is a two form-entry primary school in Tipton for children from 3 to 11 years of age.

Our vision is to develop young people who will have active and creative minds, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and the courage to act on their beliefs. We stress the total development of each child: spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, emotional, cultural and physical. Our Governors are seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated teacher who is committed to their own professional development and raising standards within the school.

We are looking to appoint someone who:

• Is an excellent class teacher with particular experience in EYFS

• Has high expectations of themselves and learners

• Works successfully in teams

• Has a great knowledge of the curriculum and the Early Years Assessment Framework

• (Not essential) Read Write Inc trained

Hours:  Full time Class Teacher with additional 0.4 TLR 2A (possibility of increasing to full time TLR)

Grade:  MPR to UPR (£28,000 – £43,685 pa) plus TLR2a (0.4 per week)
