BUSINESS MANAGER
Salary: Grade 11 £45,495 – £49,950 per annum dependent on years’ service Pro Rota
Actual Salary £34,784.62- £3915.59 per annum) dependent on years’ service
Hours of work: 30 hours per week across 5 days
Contract: Term time plus 3 weeks – 42 working weeks (you will be required to work 20 additional days when students are not in the Academy)
Responsible to: Co-Headteachers

Queen’s Croft is a special school for pupils aged 11-19 years that serves the area of Lichfield, Tamworth, Cannock and Burton. Due to our central location, pupils are also placed with us from outer areas including Birmingham, Walsall, Wolverhampton, Derby and Warwickshire. We are commissioned for 210 pupils (175 KS3/KS4 and 35 Post 16) but currently have 197 on roll (as of September 2023), of which 40 are Post 16. All pupils have an Education, Health and Care plan. The primary area of need is cognition and learning and / or communication and interaction. Pupils have other associated needs including VI, HI, anxiety, SEMH, Physical and Sensory.
Our vision is to inspire GREATness and to give our pupils opportunities to be successful in academic subjects but also prepare them for the wider world beyond school and inspire them to become successful young adults. Part of this role would be working as a member of the senior leadership team in order to support these opportunities and this may include under-going other tasks such as fundraising, accruing grants and working with families under the direction of the Co-Headteachers.
As Business Manager you would be expected to contribute to the strategic planning, development and monitoring of support services within school, taking effective responsibility for finance, human resources, health and safety, and facilities management.
