Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the Budget Control Officer will include:
- Preparation of the annual budget and quarterly financial reports.
- Monitoring and controlling budget expenditure to ensure it is within the approved limits.
- Identification and resolution of budgetary issues and discrepancies.
- Preparation and presentation of financial reports to management and other stakeholders.
- Development and implementation of budgetary procedures and policies.
- Analysis of budgetary data and provision of recommendations for improved financial management.
Minimum Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in budgeting and financial management.
- Knowledge of budgeting principles, financial reporting, and accounting practices.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A high level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
