Assistant Principal (SEN/Inclusion responsibility)

L12 to L16, Actual Salary (£61,882 to £68,400)

 

The Alpha Academies Trust is seeking to appoint an Assistant Principal who will be based at the Discovery Academy, to join our high performing strategic team. Applicants will need to have whole school leadership experience and be able to evidence their impact on academy priorities. Responsibilities of the role will be based on the development priorities of the Academy, with a specific remit of SEN and Inclusion, working with other leaders to ensure high academic outcomes and expectations in all key stages. Leadership responsibilities can be subject to change based on the needs of the Academy; this post will have a teaching responsibility.

 

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, skilled individual to join our friendly and professional Leadership Team. The successful applicant must be able to contribute as an outstanding teacher to both pupil outcomes and teacher development.

 

The successful candidate will be an experienced Senior Leader or show potential in development to the next level of leadership following a successful trajectory in their career to date. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong track record of raising standards and school improvement, evidencing the impact their leadership has already made in their existing role. The suitable candidate needs to evidence their ability to be self- motivated, dynamic, have good personal management skills & good relationships and the ability to work collaboratively both within the Academy and with partner schools.
