Key Responsibilities

As an Accounting Associate, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Conducting financial analysis and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial reports.
  • Preparing and processing financial transactions, including invoicing, payments, and journal entries.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders, including responding to financial inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations, laws, and industry standards, and implementing necessary changes to ensure compliance.

Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • A strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations, with a focus on South African accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
