Our company is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accountant Assistant to join our team. As an Accountant Assistant, you will be responsible for providing administrative and financial support to our accounting department.
The primary role of the Accountant Assistant is to assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including financial statements, ledgers, and journals. You will also be responsible for reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and performing general accounting tasks. In addition, you will provide support to the accounting team with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
Some of the key responsibilities of the Accountant Assistant include:
- Preparing and maintaining financial records, including financial statements, ledgers, and journals.
- Reconciling accounts, including bank statements, credit card statements, and other accounts.
- Preparing financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Performing general accounting tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.
- Providing support to the accounting team with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Assisting with audits, including preparing and reviewing documentation and providing information to auditors.
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have the following minimum requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Accounting or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software, including SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
