Job Description

As an Enrolled Nursing , your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support for the treatment of communicable and infectious diseases.
  • Implementing First Aid procedures and assisting with pregnancy and other tests.
  • Assisting with client admissions, directing clients to relevant service points, and applying simple dressings.
  • Collecting, labeling, and dispatching specimens, as well as receiving and filing laboratory results.
  • Counseling clients on HIV/TB/TOP and reproductive health.
  • Assisting with quality assurance and health promotion programs.
  • Collecting and collating health information data on clinical activities.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Registration: Must be registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nursing Assistant.
  • Healthcare Knowledge: Understanding of accepted healthcare practices and procedures.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team and interact tactfully with the public.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency in computer use.
