Requirements:
- Basic R425 qualification or equivalent that allows registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as a Professional Nurse.
- Current SANC registration.
- Post-basic qualification in one of the specified specialties with at least 1 year of accredited training.
- Grade 1: Minimum of 4 years’ experience in nursing post-registration in General Nursing.
- Grade 2: Minimum of 14 years’ experience in nursing post-registration in General Nursing, with at least 10 years of experience in the relevant specialty.
Duties:
- Provide clinical nursing care according to scope and standards.
- Promote and ensure quality nursing care.
- Plan and organize own work efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Show commitment to patient care and respond to patient needs.
