Key Responsibilities:

As a Food Services Assistant, your duties will include:

  • Placing entrees, salads, desserts, and other items on the serving line.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and stock of the service line.
  • Handing over stock to the next shift and ensuring it is tallied and signed off.
  • Addressing customer or client complaints and feedback when feasible.
  • Adhering to health, safety, and food safety regulations.
  • Providing high-quality customer service.
  • Keeping the canteen tables, kitchen, and other areas clean and organized.
  • Assisting in meal preparation, particularly salads and desserts.
  • Meeting client expectations as per the contract.
  • Attending training sessions and team meetings.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Have a National Senior Certificate or equivalent.
