Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for the Anova YES programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum qualification: Grade 12 certificate (tertiary qualifications are advantageous)
  • Must be unemployed
  • Age range: 18 to 34 years
  • South African citizens with a valid ID
  • Persons with disabilities must submit a medical certificate confirming the nature of the disability
  • Effective communication in English (written and verbal)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Must not be enrolled in other experiential learning programmes during the YES programme period
  • Previous participants of the YES programme are not eligible to apply

Personal Attributes:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and in teams
  • Proficient in data capturing
  • Good administrative and organizational skills
  • Skilled in using MS Office applications
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions carefully
