Position Type: Full Time
Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Labour Relations/Labor Law (LLB)
Preferred: Postgraduate qualification in Labour Law/Industrial Relations
Experience Required: 5+ years in Industrial/Employee Relations
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement labor relations policies and compliance strategies
- Lead collective bargaining processes and conflict resolution
- Manage dispute resolution through CCMA representation
- Develop Employment Equity plans and monitor compliance
- Advise management on labor legislation updates
- Oversee Occupational Health & Safety implementation
- Coordinate Employee Assistance Programs (EAP)
Requirements:
- Proven track record in labor relations
- Comprehensive knowledge of South African labor law
- Experience in disciplinary procedures and CCMA processes
- Background in scientific research environment (advantageous)
